Slow down your boat bro

A message forwarded on to me to repost for boaters attention. Come on guys you know it makes sense.

At 6pm tonight a cruiser was speeding up the Lea by High Bridge in the middle of the river with no lights. 10 mins later a narrow boat went past the same spot also too fast, in the middle of the river and no lights. People on the bank who asked both boats to slow down and put their lights on got a negative response. There is going to be a serious accident if boaters on the Lea continue behaving like this.
