Meaning Chinese Proverb Walking didn't change your name
Sometime when we were reading novel or other kind of literatures, we found profound proverb, but becouse the barrier betwen cross culture translation, it become very difficult to grasp the meaning the profound proverb.
"Walking didn't change your name, Sitting didn't change your (family name) surname (行不改名坐不改姓, one of the proverbs, don't know what the hell is the meaning any suggestion?)…"
...
The proverb mean to inform in straightforward way, the man is not going to cower by threat nor tempt. He will not hide himself because of fear of death, or cheating for mere profit. This was a very profound proverb.
